Dr. Isilay Civan is the Global Real Estate Design & Planning Manager with Citi’s Realty Services. She is responsible for developing design standards and guidelines, leading programming and design process re-engineering, as well as, research and recommending solutions/sourcing for sustainability and wellness initiatives. Isilay has more than 15 years of international project experience in architectural design, project management and real estate development for corporate and public sector clients. In her most recent experience, she was an innovation specialist for HOK Consulting, a worldwide architectural and engineering firm, where she was responsible for research-based strategic planning and sustainability. She holds a doctorate in real estate development with a minor in Business, from Texas A&M University, as well as, a second doctorate in facility management, a master’s degree in construction project management, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Istanbul Technical University. Isilay is also a published author of two books and numerous articles.
