Join your colleagues for an impressive tour of the massive CITY Furniture showroom in Plant City. This new showroom along Interstate 4 is the largest furniture destination in the state of Florida.
CITY Furniture was built with sustainability at its foundation, and you will be able to learn and view some of its unique green features. The $125-million showroom which has LED lighting throughout the more than 1.3 million-square-foot space as well as over 20 electric vehicle parking spaces for customers and the community to utilize to charge their vehicles. The solar-ready facility utilizes delivery trucks that run on natural gas. The retailer created 500 new jobs to the Plant City area.
Donald Munger, the Facilities Director for the North Region which includes the Plant City location will be onsite with his facilities team to direct our tours.
Started 51 years ago, the company’s roots date back to the 1970s when it opened its first Waterbed City store in Fort Lauderdale in 1971. The store was later converted into CITY Furniture in 1994 with the company evolving into a furniture and home accents destination over the years. Today, CITY Furniture has 22 showrooms across the state.
Please plan to arrive early and to the East or back side of the facility and enter where the Corporate Entrance is located.
