Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) has broad reach in our built environment. What contributes to better IEQ and what are concerns should an occupant have, whether it is a building they work in, live in, visit, children attend school or where elderly parents reside. IEQ has direct impacts on health, productivity, sustainability and resilience. COVID brought our attention to air quality, its delivery and mechanical systems. Energy codes have been driving indoor lighting, shading and building materials. With systems so connected to building occupancy, how can teams collaborate for the right designs, operations and where to find the information. Presentation will also cover sneak peaks into ASHRAE’s new Guideline 42- Enhanced Indoor Quality.
